i had a few days off of my shoot..
i’ve been thinking about getting out of stress. somewhere nice.., spent some time with my family..
but where..?
most places i could think did not interest me anymore .. either i’ve been there too many times or it was just too crowded…
its got to be some place in Kerala or at least not further than a days drive,
i only had four days off of work…
it was my friend Anil from Changanaessery who told about his friend from Valkaddavu.
“ he had a property hidden away in the forest “ he said…
i asked him, whats there…? i was surprised by what he said… he said “ nothing.! “
he said “ there was nothing there but lal will love it.. “
he insisted that i had to go…
Anil’s good friend Jojo (now my good friend also), had this property at Valkkadavu ..
anil was right… the place had nothing…
it had no phone…
no rush…
no traffic…
no pollution of any sort..
but it had something.. something no other places had..
absolute privacy…
un imaginable beauty of nature…
cleanest of air…
absolute peace…
few friendly helping hands..
an open mind
and other simple things…
i went there again not once but four times.., in the same year…!
to spend time with my family…, to write… to have a lung full of clean air…
i m sure i’ll go there again, not once but as much as i can because here, it’s beautiful.. it’s one of the most beautiful gift of mother nature …
